This Page Got Trashed!
[edit]The internet is not serious business. Wikipedia is not serious business. THE HOLLIS BROOKLINE HIGH SCHOOL PAGE IS THE LEAST SERIOUS BUSINESS OF ALL! For the love of raptor jesus, get a life and leave the page alone.

[edit]and shane for the love of fudge every time you edit the page i can tell because you say things like "the seniors commandeered the senior lounge", i love you dearly but will you please stop pretending this is a chapter of gunslinger fanfiction that you are writing and maintain some semblance of editorial professionalism my good sir.
Also: I call writing the Rock for Charity thing, considering it is my baby, but we really need to make sure we just have a category for say "Instances of the Performing Arts" or something, I'll do a bit of an NLG bit too but really Mr. I should do that.
Also: Tim, was an entire section on each year's game for FIRST really necessary? Why not create a separate page for Team 1073? I know you want to create an amazing Wiki but really this home page should just be an index for, say, another wikipedia page for NLG or Team Force or whatever.
You and me should get together and map this beach out. CONCEPTS MAPS AYOO

Performing Arts
[edit]Petey, I added a section for the peforming arts for you. Currently, it's the same information that was there before but copied. Hollis1138
- Excellent. I'm going to play with that when I get a chance. --Petey
Pictures
[edit]Do we have any pictures of the senior lounge? I have a pic of the modified Mission Statement and a very Braveheart-looking Shane on Field Day but I don't want to post pictures of anyone without their permission (at least where we can clearly identify who it is). I was thinking of going to the school and taking pictures myself of the track, sports fields, etc. Hollis1138
- I put up a picture of the track from the Middle School website, but wikipedia didn't like what I put for licensing information, so it will be deleted. I'll go over there myself and take some pics. Hollis1138 13:49, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think we ever got a good picture of the Lounge, but I will ask. --Petey
Other Ideas
[edit]Maybe we should include something about senior skip day? I would, but I don't think I can do it without mocking druggies (which is so easy to do). Hollis1138
- I feel like perhaps we could speak to other school traditions/facts/accomplishments before mentioning what is actually a widespread phenomenon. Let's take a picture of the trophy cabinet and start tabulating achievements and records. --Petey
Student Gov't
[edit]I put up a specific section for Advisory Council and Student Council. This can always be removed or changed back to sub-categories under Clubs/Organizations if there's not enough for an entire section. Shane, could you describe how Advisory Council is (was) set up? Thanks. Hollis1138 14:36, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
