Ghost Town

A number of informational websites refer to Holmesville as a "ghost town," and the article itself is in the scope of the Ghost Towns Project. I think it should be mentioned in the article. Ditch ∝ 19:35, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Great Resort"

In the article's current form, the last paragraph makes mention of Holmesville as being a "great resort" frequented by vacationers from New Orleans. I am assuming this is sourced to the Conerly book, but it's behind a paywall. I wonder if someone can verify this, as it seems kind of odd? Ditch ∝ 21:38, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
