Hot Potato Game Described in Scout manuals
[edit]Manuals for younger boy and girl scout troop leaders contain references to the hot potato game.

Origin of Pass the Parcel
[edit]Given that at least one source gives the origin of Pass the Parcel as the United Kingdom, it seems that a citation is needed for the claim that it is "known to come from Yankee traditions in northern United States." http://aroundtheworldactivities.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/pass-the-parcel-uk.pdf SkookumDog (talk) 21:30, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
"Pass the parcel" doesn't seem to be related to "hot potato". Why are they in the same article? Hypershock (talk) 12:52, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Agreed. They're similar games and potentially one come from the other but they're not the same. I will split them. Mvolz (talk) 15:36, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
