This article either must be deleted or must be incorporated into the article "Underwater Acoustics".

Rebuttal: the article "Underwater Acoustics" is far to general - hydroacoustics is normally applied to active generation of sound for purposes of detecting echoes - if it should be incorporated into anything, it should / could be SONAR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bmcclure (talkcontribs) 19:24, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
