ISO JTC 1/SC 27 → ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 – The subcommittee is part of the Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC 1) of both the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The current title does not include IEC, though it does when referred to throughout the article. --Relisted. -- tariqabjotu 02:30, 3 September 2013 (UTC) LauraALo (talk) 20:44, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

COI Declaration and Revision Summary
[edit]I am an editor affiliated with the American National Standards Institute. When revising this article, I have followed Wikipedia's COI guideline to the best of my abilities. I have reorganized the page by removing "Working area of SC 27 in ISO/IEC" and moving its content to the lead paragraph. I have added the sections "History," "Scope," "Collaborations," and "Member counties" and replaced the "Standards" sections with "Published standards." I also reorganized the "Standards" section from subsections of working groups to a table format with a few standards from each working group. Any feedback on this article or any other articles I have created or contributed to would be much appreciated. LauraALo (talk) 14:54, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
Statistics regarding membership and meetings
[edit]- I do not see the point of showing the P- and O-members. These change often, and can be rather shown by adding a link to the SC 27 information page on the ISO-website:
- Further, taking up space with a list of members detracts from what the page should converse to its audience - the purpose and products of SC 27.
- Adding a pie chart about where meetings were held is of no value what so ever.
