Popular models
[edit]What models of revolvers most popular at 25 m Center-Fire shampionships?
- At top level, I think Manurhin MR-32 and possibly, in case of Eastern Europeans, TOZ-49 are the most used (it might be noted that even many of the top CISM shooters use revolvers for CFP, despite still having to bring a semi-auto for the Rapid Fire match). At lower level all sorts of revolvers are seen, often in .38 Special (.44 is too large to be admitted by the rules.) -- Jao 22:59, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Target size
[edit]What size are the targets, and what is the accuracy achieved?
Errata
[edit]The silver medal in 1974 for this event was not won by a Puritan minister born in the 1500s. The reference should be to Chief Warrant Officer Francis 'Frank' Higginson of the United States Marine Corps, who is also the longstanding national record holder for the NRA conventional pistol .22 stage with a perfect 900 points. The name link goes to the wrong page, a disambiguation is needed. Wanlace (talk) 02:18, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
