The following is nonsense and should be fixed by someone who can be bothered:

"whilst others were simply vapourised in the initial explosion".

It doesn't seem like nonsense to me. This is the same thing as what happened in the recent train derailment in Canada. 184.97.207.59 (talk) 00:29, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Someone does not just "vapourise". Its physicall nonsense and impossible considering the maximum possible energy density of such a fire compared to the required energy just to boil the water and also the very limited ability to conduct the heat. I will remove this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.136.206.153 (talk) 08:20, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've moved the page because "tanker truck" is not even remotely a recognised term in Nigeria. Example Google hits for .ng domains:

"Tank truck" = 73
"Tanker" (-ship) = 11,200

As can be seen, the leading returns are actual local reports of the similar Okogbe road tanker explosion incident. Nick Cooper (talk) 07:42, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
