Minilla

[edit]

Who foundout that Minilla was on Greenman?67.175.138.202 03:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Me Giantdevilfish 03:56, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

where?67.175.138.202 03:39, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have the complete series on DVD.Giantdevilfish 04:10, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, do you have a picture?67.175.138.202 20:00, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have the ability to take screencaps. However it was a brand new costume. It looked very cheaply built and Minilla has a pacifier in his mouth. One of the guys at www.tohokingdom.com has the series on DVD as well, and is slowly posting shots of the various monsters from the series on that site, so keep checking there from time to time. Giantdevilfish 01:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I bet that the people thought Minilla was harmless Ha Ha! PS I'm not Nelson Muntz (It's a Joke).67.175.138.202 21:28, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, The link you added that show pictures of Greenman and the monsters didn't show Minilla.67.175.138.202 20:08, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. They only show a handful of the monsters and NOT everyone from the show.Giantdevilfish 20:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

@I have the complete series on DVD: Why? (I ask purely out of curiosity.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.139.81.0 (talk) 19:13, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

King Kong

[edit]

Who found out about King Kong guest starring in Ike! Greenman and which episode was he in?67.175.138.202 03:44, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Me again. He's in episode 38. It's called Greenman Vs Gorilla.Giantdevilfish 04:11, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a picture for him too?67.175.138.202 20:03, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again I can't post screencaps. But I'll tell you this, its the EXACT same suit from King Kong Escapes. The funny thing is, the suit had poles inside the arms originally for the suit actor to hold onto. This was done because Kong, being an ape, had to have long arms. The arms of the suit were to long for the suit actor inside, so poles were added. Well, anyway, the poles had been removed by the time the Greenman episode was made, so the whole episode you see the arms flailing around. It's almost like a person wearing a shirt where the sleeves are too long. It's kinda funny. :) Giantdevilfish 05:26, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ha, that is funny.Kongsaurus12 01:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kamacuras

[edit]

Hey, I once found on this article that Kamacuras was on here and it was removed later. Was it vandalism?67.175.138.202 21:30, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm don't think it's vandalism, because they thought it was Kamacuras.Kongsaurus12 01:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other Monsters List

[edit]

I'm not sure oif we had all the monsters in the other monster list. Who ever knows all the other please post on there.Kongsaurus12 01:12, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done Giantdevilfish 02:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You, But remove Gorilla and the cameo monsters. They're in the Cameos List.67.175.138.202 02:52, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I was thinking that there was no point in having the monsters listed twice. But.. ..the list I made is basically an episode guide. Every episode is Greenman VS (the name of the monster). So I figure that if I keep it the way it is, people would know what episodes the TOHO monsters are in. Gaira is in episode 4, Gabara is in episode 14 etc. Anyway I'll leave it up to you guys to decide. If you want to remove them then go ahead. Giantdevilfish 08:20, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same Monsters from Godman

[edit]

What are some of the same monsters in Greenman that appeared in Godman?67.175.138.202 21:00, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the Godman monster list http://www.japanhero.com/monsters/godman.htm

Teiborasu, Tsunzurasu, Totsotosaurus, Tsurazuu and Akumon are in both shows.Giantdevilfish 05:35, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flasher

[edit]

The Flasher aliens are on another show called Totsugeki Hyuman. They're the same ones in here, because they look like flies.See Japan Hero page of Hyuman. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.175.138.202 (talk) 02:52, 25 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

But what's the production company?Kongsaurus12 01:00, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know.Hey,User:Giantdevilfish had you heard of this show.It has the Same Flasher aliens.

I never heard of this show, but I know a few people that are experts (so to speak) on Japanese sc-fi. I'll ask around.Giantdevilfish 06:24, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Japan Hero article said "Produced by: Nihon TV and Mo-Bull". Mo-Bull might be the production company. Other articles said " Production Company: Ex:Toho/Tsuburaya.Kongsaurus12 00:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, Mo-Bull might be the production company,But it said produced by: Mo-Bull not Production Company: Mo-Bull. Still Mo-Bull might be the production company. Hey Giantdevilfish can you get one of the experts to help us.67.175.138.202 21:01, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've sent some E-Mails and PM's out. I haven't been gotten back to yet. I'll let you know when that happens,Giantdevilfish 22:34, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I sent a PM to August Ragone (a well researched Japanese sci-fi historian). He said that the show was produced by NTV (Nippon Television) and a company called Moblu. When I asked him how can the Flashers show up in a TOHO production if TOHO had nothing to do with production of Hyuman, he said this.

But, GREENMAN was an NTV/Toho production. Don't forget that all of the shows produced for Japanese television are joint productions -- ULTRAMAN was a production of Tsuburaya Productions and TBS, KAMEN RIDER was a production of Toei and Mainichi Broadcasting, etc. Therefore, NTV is your connection to HYUMAN, not Toho. NTV would have had those suits in storage, and said to Toho while producing GREENMAN, "Hey, we've got some leftover suits from HYUMAN"

So there you go. They are the same creatures and the connection here is NTV.Giantdevilfish 23:09, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just discovered that Spider,Shibiregon,Red Rock,Zarizon,Gyaron, and Garameddon also appear in Hyuman. Hyyuman started and ended on the same day as Greenman.67.175.138.202 22:12, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if that's the case add it to the tidbit on the page.Giantdevilfish 07:46, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hey, User:Giantdevilfish can you link Some Greenman videos on YouTube. There's the opening and a clip in japanese writing.67.175.138.202 22:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest with you I don't know how to set up links. I also don't know how to post pictures. I have a pic of the Oodako, I'd like to post on his page, but I don't know how to do it!!:(Giantdevilfish 23:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But how did you add the link to the cameo monsters?67.175.138.202 02:37, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I misread you. I fixed up the page with some more info. What do you think?Giantdevilfish 03:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good Job. I see you did it to Godman too. Good Job.67.175.138.202 20:02, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
