Didn't Sony have an application very similar to InCD? I remember it having the exact same interface and options, I don't know if it was called InCD, though. Family Guy Guy 21:26, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Bugs
[edit]Well, one should mention that InCD is one of the most buggy programs in the universe :
- just stops working, example: I was saving files to a CD-RW, when suddenly I got a Windows error dialog "You can not write files to read only media", after a minute luckily it came to its senses and I could continue writing files to it
- the InCD.exe process keeps hanging when logging out. Happens very often. Was supposedly fixed, but I guess the bug returned.
- claiming read errors on a perfectly good UDF medium
- other I can't remember right now
(yes, I updated, reinstalled, wrote bug reports to Ahead... etc, after 5 years or how much of developing InCD , it still sucks)

- I un-installed it today, and it not only erased my DVD drivers, but also half of my registry. Not fun. Logical2uReview me! 21:28, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- My computer crashes itself after about 10 minutes if I don't shut off the InCDsrv.exe. --4.248.53.36 (talk) 15:00, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, incd was an absolute nightmare of a malfunctioning application. Those of us who needed to transfer large files in-between the eras of floppies and usb drives still have bad dreams over the innumerable incompatibilities, malfunctions and plain old fucktardedness of the dreaded incd. It's been years since, and I still sigh with relief everytime I use a "just plug it and play" usb flash drive. 87.202.148.136 (talk) 14:59, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
