Remove "list of countries with rankings" box?

[edit]

Why is the box "list of countries with rankings" included here? The countries are already listed above it, and the box does not contain material directly related to the report. I'm inclined to remove it, but would like to hear what others think. Notmyrealname (talk) 17:07, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "list of countries with rankings" box at the bottom is clearly relevant because Index of Economic Freedom is a list of countries ranked by Economic Freedom. It adds value to the page.Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 03:27, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why 2003-2006?

[edit]

The focus of this article is entirely random. There is already an article about the current IEF. The choice to start with 2003 makes no sense since the Index was begun in 1995. Obviously, if we are to keep this article, it needs to be updated with the latest material.Notmyrealname (talk) 17:11, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The actual content of this page is auto-generated from {{Index of Economic Freedom/Ranking 2006}}. I would prefer that we include the data all the way back to 1995; that would be better.Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 03:27, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But then it would no longer be the "Index of Economic Freedom 2003-2006."Notmyrealname (talk) 03:52, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers need to be explained

[edit]

Also, the index numbers need some explanation, otherwise they are completely meaningless to the reader.Notmyrealname (talk) 17:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Some explanation is in order.Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 03:21, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

Shouldn't this article be deleted? There really isn't anything important to merge into the article for the Index of Economic Freedom. Harpsichord246 (talk) 02:06, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
