Is Inside Washington also known as Eye on Washington since my channel guide has that name and the show is exactly the same as this article says.--Gdo01 03:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- No. Eye on Washington is the show Gannett replaced Inside Washington with when Gordon Peterson left Gannett's WUSA for WJLA. As most PBS stations had agreements with Gannett the former distributor, Inside Washington was replaced by Eye on Washington on many of those stations. Eye on Washington is hosted by current WUSA anchor Derek McGinty, formerly of ABC News World News Now and NPR's The Derek McGinty Show. — SterlingNorth 21:41, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Although, there is a possibility that what happened is your PBS member station opted not to renew the contract with Gannett for its show and recently replaced it with Gordon Peterson's original show... — SterlingNorth 21:43, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

no disputed neutrality
[edit]Peterson never expressed his own opinion except obliquely, but the show was somewhat one-sided, Krauthammer being the lone conservative voice, if Thomas and Totenberg frequently hedged. There is no reason, however, to bring McLaughlin's program into this except to say that the participants are certainly more vociferous and pugnacious, and coming largely from the Right instead of the Left, Eleanor Clift fills Krauthammer's role. Both shows, tho, would probably dispute my characterization of their bias, and suppose themselves to balanced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.37.186 (talk) 03:23, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
