Agriculture[edit]

The article states that: "...The most agriculturally active region is concentrated between Biobío and the Los Lagos Region, where the Depression terminates."

Actually, the most agriculturally active region stretches from the rural areas around Santiago to the Los Lagos Region. Stating that "the most agriculturally active region" starts at the Biobío region leaves out the overwhelmingly agricultural and viticultural regions of Lib. Bernardo O'Higgins (VI Region) and Maule (VII Region). I suggest that the mentioned paragraph be amended to reflect the actual facts.

Thank you.

Merge proposal[edit]

This is relevant and interesting material, however, it seems to me that it is not a subject that has any real meaning to an English speaking reader outside of the context of Chilean geography. The title seems to have nothing to do with any established, known and universal geographical concept as far as I know. If I'm wrong then the article needs to be expanded to discuss this phenoma as it occurs in other countries and areas. --JAXHERE | Talk 01:52, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It has also been proposed that this article be merged into Chilean Central Valley. I recently saw this article and felt that they both should be merged into the single article about Chilean Geography. Is there anyone else with any ideas about this -- for or against? --JAXHERE | Talk 22:43, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
