Kirkus "Starred review"

[edit]

In "Reception", the Kirkus Reviews review is described as a "starred review". The reference for this article contains no described rating, there is nothing like an X-out-of-Y review, only a "Get it" endorsement. My concern is that the usage of "starred review" here is to insinuate that it is a "five starred review". Although the review from Kirkus is a significantly positive one, it seems like issuable language. I'll defer to someone else for an edit. 2A02:C7C:5C1E:1000:56D:ECD0:A945:729 (talk) 13:26, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure where you believe that insinuation has been made. It is merely summarizing the context of the review, which clearly indicates the book has been starred by the publication. It also wikilinks to the article where that meaning is described. Not every rating has to be measured in X-out-of-Y terms to be described on Wikipedia.
