Ownership of the WFL 1975 team should be corrected: There were 4 equal partners (25% each): Earl Knabb Lewis J. Obi MD (plastic surgeon) Lefferts Mabie Esq Charles Mabry MD Earl knabb secured loans for doctors Lewis Obi and Charles Mabry. When the WFL folded in October 1975, Dr Lewis Obi and Lefferts Mabie fully honored their losses by paying off their notes. Dr Mabry could not as he sustained brain injuries during the 1975 WFL season. Dr Lewis Obi has financial and tax records proving this corrected Jacksonville Express ownership structure.
