"1847 Invention of the crown winding system."

This is inaccurate, Patek invented, and holds the patent for the first crown-wind system. The patent is dated 1845, two years earlier. Can someone double-check this, the information can be found here:

JLC - Wikipedia Main Page & Reverso Page Updates

I work for a digital agency servicing Jaeger-LeCoultre and am currently involved in a project concerning their Wikipedia pages.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is very enthusiastic about the Wikipedia page dedicated to the company, written and moderated by you, and would like to form stronger relations with all experienced contributors who have worked on articles about Jaeger-LeCoultre on Wikipedia, as well as with watch enthusiasts in general. My wish is to be part of the collaborative process you have established and, with your help, to create an article that is neutral, informative and detailed. Rated as "C" because more than one section (e.g. LeCoultre Manufacture ) is not provided with citations. There are also a few "citation needed" tags. Could you please clarify which article you have rated as "C"? Is it the one already published, or the one I wrote and that is present on the Talk page here? [[1]]-- The present C rating relates to the published one

If referring to the article I wrote, do you think I could post it now on the article page, and continue to work on the references/citations meanwhile as you suggested?

As long as your new version includes all appropriate information from the other one it could be substituted for it (see Wikipedia:Be bold); see also Wikipedia:Bare URLs (re references).

If referring to the existing article, would you mind having a look at mine and offering your feedback? As mentioned, I have made a conscientious effort to diversify the references as much as possible and to keep a neutral point of view throughout the article.

Article Online

Hi everyone,

As Felix Folio Secundus suggested, I have just posted my article on line. This new version, which I submitted to the community in the beginning of April, is an expanded form of the previous one.

Please see below the previous parts I moved elsewhere in the new article.

- Introduction Some sentences have been moved around within the same section.

- History Has moved to various parts: Sections 1.2, Section 1.3, Section 1.4.6, Section 1.5

- LeCoultre in North America has moved to Section 1.3

- The Atmos Clock has moved to Section 2.6 and Section 1.6.4

I deleted some sentences in the introduction and in the part “other products” because no citations or references were given. Moreover, some parts about “LeCoultre in North America” and “the Atmos Clock” were, in my opinion , too detailed for the global article about Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any remarks about the new version. I would be delighted to discuss it with you further.

Paid editing

Hi, i would like to reduce some parts of this article, if there are no objections. Some of the things are not correct, e.g. JLC does not make the world's most complicated wrist watch, the near bankruptcy in 1858 is missing, the implications of the smoot-hawley-tariff act are missing, the first keyless pocket watch was by Patek, the references are suboptimal, the current product display and WP:PROMOTION, etc. A very similar text was added in the german language wikipedia article, and the discussion with JLC's french PR-agency is in english. Franck Muller's Aeternitas Mega has more parts and complications. Patek Philippe invented the keyless watch in 1845.please click 1845 The collections section is imho irrelevant and against WP:WWIN. Many of the references are websites, of which many are sponsored, please see their respective disclaimers. This would be optimizable according to WP:RS and WP:NPOV. Hi Ghilt, the Collection section is based on short descriptions "in an objective and unbiased style, free of puffery". It also provides information on the technology so I would not say it is against Wikipedia rules. Concerning the invention of the keyless watch, I see that the link you provide is the official website. Do you have any other source to confirm ? Thank you. You're right, here's a decent reference.[4] A patent register from December 1827 also states Berolla's keyless watch.[5] I seriously doubt that the current product display / collection is "verifiable with independent, third-party sources" (WP:WWIN), meaning without sponsoring. Pronunciation

In my opinion the IPA [ ʒeʒɛʁ ləkultʁ] is wrong, the "L" is silent: [ ʒeʒɛʁ ləkutʁ]. Anyway, that's how it sounds in the linked video.--139.191.190.4 (talk) 08:57, 15 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi. My name is Adele Nicolette Epting and I have been trying so hard to reach this company for so long about this watch. It's very important to me. I know that there is no information on this watch, however, I promise you that it does exist. It is real. My word is my bond. For some reason, although I have been trying for year's to simply contact this company, I never seem to have any luck - never any response or anything. I really desperately want to speak with someone who is actually from this company, not someone who is claiming to be or... It really matters to me, to us... I'm still here...
