The latter half of this article is about "dance circles" and not "jam circles". The point of a dance circle is to honor, respect, meet, whatever a dancer. This is more an aspect of social dancing, while the point of a jam circle is to show off.

Given the actual topic, "Jamming", I think that jam circles and dance circles both have a place here. For that matter, Charleston jam circles probably do too. I revised it to place a better distinction between showing off ability and showing off a person. ~ Shawn 16:54, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
