Hi. The reason for going to AfD is to get a consensus on something that has been unresolved for a long time. A discussion on the talk page would most likely not achieve that. I would not normally try a redirect unless I was pretty sure notability was not established. A lot of US press does not show up in my google searches, so an AfD seems a sensible way of establishing a community view. All the best Mccapra (talk) 19:15, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
