"I blame Jed"

After reading this article, I had the impression that she blamed Jed for the kidnapping. However, after watching the episode I get the clear impression that she blames Jed for for the media show regarding Zoey. I disagree. I believe that Abbey is talking about the kidnapping not the following media circus.
