Anti-LGBT controversy

Should some mention be added about the anti-LGBT controversy? In 2013, Herman G. Rowland Sr, Chairman of the Board of Jelly Belly, donated to a campaign to repeal a California law that gives equal rights to transgender students:

If we had a biography of Rowland, then maybe this might be worth mentioning there. I do not think it belongs in this article. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 22:40, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

Possible sources

I have developed a list of nine possible sources for this article, which you can see at User:Cullen328/sandbox/Jelly Belly. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:09, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Product list

I have removed lengthy and promotional product and flavor lists from the article, which violate our policy What Wikipedia is not. I have been reverted by Mnighbor, an editor with an admitted conflict of interest revealed on their talk page. This editor works only on this article. I intend to keep removing these product and flavor lists, unless there is consensus for a much more concise and neutral presentation. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:46, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

I, for one, do believe that some product and flavor information should be retained. Readers come to pages about companies expecting to find such information. I agree that the page is frequently pushed into a promotional tone, but it's possible to keep it evenhanded without removing all the jellybean info from an article about a jellybean company. I do not think that I have said that all information about jelly beans should be removed, SteveStrummer. The history of the product, how it is manufactured, and the associations with Reagan are all appropriate. Adding neutral prose describing the product line, cited to independent sources, is fine. Anyone who wants a complete flavor list can visit the company's website. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:58, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
I am in the process of collecting links to reliable, independent sources in a sandbox page that can be used to expand this article. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 21:25, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
That's a very helpful, involved approach, and I commend your admin style! I've made an expansion to the Products section using independent sources which I hope is neutral enough to remain in place. I'm not as active as I once was, but I'll try to continue building this article in the future. SteveStrummer (talk) 22:39, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
