Orphaned references in Jem and the Holograms (film)

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jem and the Holograms (film)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "opening":

  • From G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra: Gray, Brandon (August 10, 2009). "Weekend Report: G.I. Joe Doesn't Roll Snake Eyes". Box Office Mojo. Retrieved September 28, 2009.
  • From The Last Witch Hunter: "'The Martian' Returning To No. 1 Above Five-Pic Logjam; 'Jem' & 'Kasbah' Crashing". Deadline.com.
  • From Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension: "Only 'Goosebumps' Will Prevail In Five-Pic Logjam – Box Office Preview". deadspin.com.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:35, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Joarsolo - Discussion pages should be used to discuss improvements to the article. How is "I AM" Activity related, in an obvious way, to Jem and the Holograms? More importantly, which reliable secondary voice is making the connection between the two? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:20, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

Plot contains numerous errors of fact. For instance, it claims that after Jem's first video is uploaded, it gets millions of hits on the first day. No where is the number of hits shown as the girls sit looking at the video, although earlier footage shows thousands of hits immediately after posting. Additionally, the time between posting and when they realized the video had "gone viral" is left unspecified. There are several other errors as well. I've corrected the claim that Jem "forgets" to delete the video, when her sister interrupts her, she hands over the camera/recorder without deleting, but it is unlikely that she "forgot" - distracted perhaps, but for whatever reason, she just didn't complete the action (all she had to do was touch the smart screen's delete button/icon. The entire section needs a good edit by someone who has actually seen the movie recently.40.142.182.216 (talk) 11:12, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
