Should this be a name list (or a disambiguation page)?

[edit]

This page is currently a redirect to Lawrence Jenco, but I'm wondering if - due to the existence of Tomáš Jenčo - it should be a name list instead (as WP:TSC states that redirects using characters on English-language keyboards should be provided for titles with diacritics, and this page can't be an {{R from surname}} to both people!). However, WP:APO/S says that [a]lternate spellings of the same name may be included [on a name list] if they have the same origin as the primary spelling (my emphasis) - and I wasn't able to confirm from a search whether or not these two spellings have the same origin, so I'm not completely sure what the best thing is to do here. Lawrence Jenco is of Slovak descent ("The Jenco family is of Slovak ancestry", from a 1986 The Times article about his return), so it would be reasonable to convert the page into a surname article. toweli (talk) 14:15, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
