Pierre Charles Tattinger
[edit]Is this Pierre Tattinger the same guy who was the war-time Mayor of Paris, who is credited with saving Paris by convincing the Germans to leave? A recent book contends that this Taittinger (the one who was Mayor) also was a grand supporter of the French Resistance, allowing his winery's cellars to be used by them. --Habap 20:33, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
