Anaconda sold to BP??[edit]

This article has many problems and certainly could use rewriting. For openers, unless I missed something pretty huge, Anaconda was sold to ARCO in about 1975. The acquisition was one of the most bone-headed in American corporate history. The main legacy for ARCO has been to provide the funding for the cleanup of the Deer Lodge Valley and on down to the Milltown dam just above Missoula.
