I can not say for sure what they started with but my guess would be International cabovers.

Can anyone add what type of trucks J.B. Hunt started with?

I propose splitting this article into two: one about the founder, the other about the company.

Pardon me as I am new to this type of editing (I am not even sure if I should add to this discussion by editing this page or starting a new discussion; oh well, with time...). My comment is that shouldn't the "J. B. Hunt" page be changed to "J. B. Hunt, Sr."? However, I am not sure what that would do to searches and links (such as from the "Deaths in 2006" page). Any thoughts on this? Thanks. Gezellig 15:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i think maybe you can create a new page for "J. B. Hunt, Sr." with this information, then revise this old one to have a #redirect to the new one.

Please use the conventions of talk pages to keep the discussion topics together. Don't create a page for "J. B. Hunt, Sr." as J. B. Hunt was principally known by that name. And unless J. B. Hunt, Jr. is well-known enough for his own article, I wouldn't even include the "Sr." in his full name at the beginning of the article. Otherwise this article needs copyediting for appropriate style. --Holford 22:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As many people do not know the company and its founder, it would be better to maintain as (1) page. As additional information becomes available and the page size changes, it will be revisited at that time. Thank you.

very confusing!

[edit]

We seem to have three distinct articles related to J B Hunt..

I have no particular interest in the subject - I was just trying to find trucking company articles when I stumbled into this.. I'm posting this note on all 3 discussion pages..

I suggest redirecting Johnnie_Bryan_Hunt to J._B._Hunt, and moving J.B._Hunt back to J._B._Hunt_Transport_Services (this is a fairly well know trucking company in the US). --Versageek 15:12, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
