No homepage...

Many have asked why put anything in the "homepage" section of the actors' bio box if there is no official website?

Why not? 2 reasons.

First, it saves the user a lot of wasted time on search engines looking for one.

Second, it gives the impetus for these poeple to get an official website!

'Nuff said?

this paragraph makes no sense

According to a 1997 Entertainment Tonight interview, when asked if Whitaker had looked his old friend up in the phone book, he called him, hence Keith had misunderstood whom the adult Johnny was until he explained everything to him, this was just days before Keith's committed suicide on June 24, 1997, and felt very sorry about Keith's loss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.252.60.118 (talk) 05:03, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Agreed, and I have removed it. If you see other weird stuff like that, feel free to be bold and fix it.  :) --Elonka 16:39, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

drug use?

why is there no mention of his severe drug abuse problems? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.92.107 (talk) 08:48, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Because there is no reliable source for it, and it's farfetched. The article says Mr. Whitaker graduated from Brigham Young University. Before graduation he was one of those Mormon missionaries you see at public libraries wearing white shirts and ties. After graduation he and his wife operated a restaurant in Utah. Mr. Whitaker knew computer programming during the 1980s.

If this man used narcotics, then mothers in Utah should beware. Don't let your kids learn computer programming from a former child actor. People just have to blame a former child actor for the behavior of all the other former child actors, even if he lives in Utah doing computer programming. Maybe in Utah you can't tell the geeks from the zonked out people, so you should look for the stereotype of former child actors, instead.

Who did Mr. Whitaker score his drugs from in the 1970s? Dana Plato? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.183.42.66 (talk) 19:17, 31 March 2010 Domain173-66-92-107 (talk) 21:51, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Kathy Garver says in the DVD Extra of "Family Affair," that he had a drug problem and beat it.
