Can this be a joint declaration from the UN members before there was a UN?
[edit]The countries that signed the joint declaration in 1942 all went on to become UN members but they were not at the time. I feel this is misleading as the UN was founded in 1945. This makes the title incorrect.
Does it matter? HughK (talk) 09:52, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
- The United Nations Organization was founded in 1945, but this article is on a joint declaration issued by the Allies of World War II. The United Nations was the official name of the Allies after the Declaration by United Nations in 1942. It is a bit confusing as we now see the Allies and the UN Organization as completely separate, but I believe the article is accurate. Whsun808 (talk) 04:57, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
