Vim in KWrite?

Can anyone substantiate the claim that "[KParts technology] allows the user to choose, for example, Vim to be embedded into KWrite"? I added a [citation needed] because, based on this article, I've been looking for a way to achieve exactly that, but my search has been fruitless so far. --88.149.249.14 (talk) 22:32, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There once was a kvim KPart which is dead now. In KDE4 there is only KatePart which can be used in KWrite/Kate and no other implementation of the KTextEditor interfaces exist. So the whole stuff about vim can be deleted. This is also not the right place to explain the KPart technology.
