The kanji 天 can also be read as あま as it is in the original Akira's surname Amami. In this image, the furigana is cut off but あま is what is shown as you can see the parts that make あま and not てん.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 11:30, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, as a late heads-up in case anyone asks, TV-Nihon got it wrong, and they're actually [aware of this]. They simply chose not to re-release the episode sub for an error this tiny, as Amaki's name only appears on-screen twice.
