I am in the process of putting together an overview on [Category:Identity_management_initiative | Identity management initiatives ]. In this article on Kantara a "linkfarm" message was added. Was that only for linking the home page of the organization in the body text? Is it OK to link to selected publications of an organizations, like in this article? For another article in this category that I plan to write there is a white paper that contains good concepts but also some sales pitch (promoting the goals of a non-profit org). Would that be OK as well? Are there good examples for link handling in similar articles? ISO for example has lots of links. Rhoerbe (talk) 19:36, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Still need to be reduced. Other articles certainly are bad too! W Nowicki (talk) 01:01, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to Improve the entry for the Kantara Initiative

[edit]

(Copy/pasted from the post ColinSWallis (talk) 16:02, 14 August 2019 (UTC) to try to maintain integrity of this record) Hi there Wikipedians. You will see minor changes in the entry for [Kantara_Initiative]. I am trying to fix some of the issues highlighted on this page by adding third-party citations and more detailed information. I am attempting to be more careful than in the previous version that anything added is covered by a third-party citation (as opposed to self-published by Kantara). I receive my funding from the Kantara Initiative, but I am committed to contributing to a neutral, well-documented article. Any suggestions or pointers will be greatly appreciated! Kind Regards Colin ColinSWallis (talk) 12:17, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
