Karns High Beavers Unite!

[edit]

Glad to see the old Alma Mater has its own page. I made some additions, hope the creator of this page approves. I'm a former KHS student (Class of '05) and I just thought I'd expand a little on what the school is like. If I knew how, I'd make one of those cute little user things for KHS students... I might try to figure it out.

Best of luck with the page. --MaskedScissorDoll 15:05, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alphebetizing

[edit]

Today I alphebetized some things and moved a couple of items so the page (hopefully) will flow better.MaskedScissorDoll 06:17, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notes

[edit]

Knox Schools site says Feeder schools are Karns Middle, Northwest Middle, and Cedar Bluff Middle Schools. But Cedar Bluff Middle page on Knox Schools website says: "Students come from Cedar Bluff Intermediate, Karns Intermediate and Hardin Valley. Students will attend Bearden High and Farragut High." Karns Middle says "From: Karns Intermediate, Hardin Valley, and Ball Camp. To Karns High." Northwest page says "From: Amherst, Norwood, Pleasant Ridge, Ridgedale, West Haven, Beaumont, Lonsdale, West View and Pond Gap. To: Karns High, West High, Fulton High, and Central High." Amherst Elementary says: "Students from Amherst Elementary will attend either Bearden Middle School, Karns Middle School or Northwest Middle School. The middle school the student will attend depends on the student's home address." Ball Camp Elementary says: "After finishing the fifth grade, Ball Camp Elementary students attend Karns Middle School and Cedar Bluff Middle School." Hardin Valley Elementary says: "The majority of the fifth grade students (90%) attend Karns Middle after completion of fifth grade. The remainder attend either Cedar Bluff Middle or Farragut Middle School." Norwood Elementary says: "After completing the fifth grade, students from Norwood Elementary attend Northwest Middle School and then Central High School." --orlady 02:52, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Karns.jpg

[edit]

Image:Karns.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The logo used in this article is the trademarked logo for the Oregon State Beavers (the athletic department for Oregon State University). This also happens to be the school mascot for Karns High School. There are murals and pictures everywhere of this specific logo all over the hallways of the school and even in the gymnasium.
