Flare star?

[edit]

Is this a known flare star? That becomes a viable article sub-topic (with proper citations) since the system now appears to have an earth-sized planet in it's habitable zone. 2602:306:BDA0:97A0:466D:57FF:FE90:AC45 (talk) 01:21, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The only ref I saw about it being variable doesn't classify it as a flare star. --Smkolins (talk) 21:48, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

predictions of other planets

[1], look for KOI-571. --Smkolins (talk) 16:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'll note though this paper was printed many months ago it has the fifth planet not hypothetical…. Interesting….--Smkolins (talk) 16:28, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The other planets

[edit]

Are there any estimates on the equilibrium temperature of day and night side of the inner planets? --Artman40 (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, should there be a size comparison chart for planets residing in this system? --Artman40 (talk) 13:53, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Star - description

[edit]

I am rather confused by this opening sentence under the section "Star": "A number of previously unknown measurements of the star are known." If someone knows what the original author was attempting to relate, coould they re-write it? Perry Middlemiss (talk) 22:30, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
