Gorigenuru Village(Jammalamadugu Mandal)

[edit]

This is Mukkamalla Pullareddy,I am from Gorigenuru village,Jammalamadugu(Mandal). Gorigenur is one of the big village among the sorrounding villages like dharmapuram, salivendula, sunnapuraallapalli. it has arround 1800 voters and it is well improved village. we have the well fecilities to crop the forms and forming is the main occupation. we have the source of Penna river and use water filters to crop the fields. Mainly we crop the groundnuts, sunflower,Sanaga. we have the ancient signs as ruled by britisher.we have the port called Buruju which was using to hide the property of whole villagers. Generally Gorigenur is one of the faction village and struggled about 15 years and now people are living good.even my child hood i could see few of faction incidents as unforgattable things. So I tried to leave off them as much as possible.

Now our village is being ruled by under Chinnareddy garu familys and we respect them and no one will work with out them permission.

I want describe about Sankranthi festival.we have the strong relationship with this festival. we will celebrate sankranthi festival with very importance.first day we contect to fire big flames. and second day we worship the oxes and feed the feast and we pluf the form for sample as we belive the crops grow well.third day i mean finaly we decorate our village good 'SRIRAMA' and bring in to penna river then some time we do worship the god with few songs and padyas. and that time all of us will be waiting only for 'Bogamollu' who are the big part of our celebrations.and we bring the good whole night to each and every home and they will worship with gitys and pities.
