Yes, it's O1/W (with an capital "oh" and not a zero, according to Korg's support web page). I've fixed things and updated the page title. --Mperry 18:37, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is apparently not correct, the name is 01/W ("zero one"), although US Americans tend to pronounce it "oh one". Look at the serial number sticker on the back side, at http://www.korguksupport.co.uk/page.cfm?pageid=357 or at the original brochure at http://www.korguksupport.co.uk/upload/01W_Series Brochure.PDF and compare the capital O with the number 0. --91.34.127.223 (talk) 22:49, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vintage Synth Explorer says

"Apparently when the engineers at Korg were presenting their new workstation to replace the Korg M1, they were going to call it the Korg M10, but apparently someone in marketing saw the name upside down, and M10 now read "01W". Apparently they liked that a lot better and made it the official name of the synth."
