Is it accurate to say that la sagouine speaks in chiac? It's more like vieux francais acadien... Observer31 (talk) 03:19, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

You are correct, La Saguoine is not written in Chiac but is written in Acadian French, sometimes with some borrowings form English but nothing like true Chiac, either at the time it was written or now. The article has been corrected by me and another editor.Rilkas (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 03:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC).

play or novel?[edit]

The article says a play, but the category at the bottom says novel. I have seen it as a novel. ps for those interested, Chiac --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 15:55, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
