@Boothsift: I really don't think this can be classified as a stub. It is definitely start class. BluePankow 01:43, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@BluePankow: It's a pretty short article. --BoothSift 01:44, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Boothsift: Yes, but I think it holds relatively enough information to be considered beyond what an average person would desire to know. The definition on the stub page is: "A stub is an article that, although providing some useful information, is too short to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject, and that is capable of expansion." Yes, it's capable of expansion, but it is also absolutely long enough and in depth enough to provide encyclopedic coverage of this species. BluePankow 01:51, 18 April 2019 (UTC) Also, I think it's fair to say that any article up to GA is also capable of expansion, so why not name it that? BluePankow 01:56, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@BluePankow: No, I will not call it a good article, C-class, or B-class. Your article is very short, you just have a lot of images that make it seem larger.--BoothSift 04:56, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would certainly consider this start-class. It has a reasonably detailed description of the species. Habitat and distribution are mentioned (though that could be expanded). Human use is covered. Plantdrew (talk) 20:23, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Boothsift: @Plantdrew: I’m sorry, I wasn’t intending to refer to my article as anything above start class, I should have been more specific. Thank you for the consideration Plant Drew. I’d like to revert it to start. BluePankow 21:31, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I already put it back to start class when I edited this talk page to make my comment above. Plantdrew (talk) 21:33, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Plantdrew: Sorry, didn’t see the template because I was replying from my phone. Thank you! BluePankow 22:12, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

L. thyinos synonym

[edit]

@Loopy30: I was wondering if you could provide the source saying explicitly that these species are synonymous. My search only turned up sources saying they were very similar. UpdateNerd (talk) 07:25, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
