Margret Thatcher
[edit]Firstly, for grammar school students who should know better, the spelling is Margaret. I am surprised nobody managed to spot this rather amusing entry on the list of previous headmistresses. It managed to stay here for 2 months. Could people please stop vandalising this article as it may be blocked from future edits. Pinster2001 15:01, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I am sorry that some LGGS pupils would sink so low. I must tell you, however, that most of us are responsible citizens. CS, a LGGS pupil.
Are there no notable former pupils?
[edit]There must be some. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.152.249.11 (talk) 17:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Freedom of Expression
[edit]Do you not think the pupils should get a say in what other people view as their school. They are of course the ones that know it best. As a pupil myself I haven't previously vandalised the page as far as "Margaret Thatcher" because that's just obviously wrong. I prefer to write about things that people are unhappy about, it's the only way to get anyone in our school to LISTEN to the average pupil's opinions.
If you really want to complain about any aspect of the school tell the School Council, the year 9 Pupil Voice project or even tell a member of staff. There is no need to ruin a webpage that has been created for the sole purpose of informing people about our school and its achievements. That's defacement, not 'freedom of expression'. CS
Changes
[edit]I've reformatted the text so that the lyrics to the school song show up properly, I also removed POV. I came here from the Article of Lancaster where it's included in the points of interest. Which somehow it does not seem to be ;) 178.142.80.200 (talk) 20:00, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
