I suggest this page becomes a Redirect to Check valve. Biscuittin (talk) 23:04, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
There was no mention of construction materials or other names for leaf valves so I added a more in-depth description at the top and made it easier to read. I also saw a need for real-life applications to be included on this wiki so I added an "Applications" section with some information about how they are used in 2-stroke motorcycle engines and I pumps. I added a photo as well to illustrate how a leaf valve operates. Finally, I added some sources.--IronA238 (talk) 01:16, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
Requested Page Redirect
[edit]I suggest that instead of redirecting the audience to Check valve, we should redirect them to Reed valve. They are the same items, just different names. "Check valve" is an umbrella term used for any one-way valve design. --IronA238 (talk) 01:08, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
