This is a taxonomic entry. The article Blind snakes is in fact a paraphyletic taxon article and so cannot include a taxobox. I am afraid you may need to make that article clearer and the taxobox on that article may need to be removed. Shyamal 15:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
On a further point you may need to merge content from Blind Snakes to Blind snake since this is the correct article naming convention, plus the article already exists as a disambiguation page. Shyamal 15:19, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Further key info[edit]

Dear writer/editor.

I was wondering if you could enter whether these snakes are venomous or not, either in the/a general info section, e.g. where you describe the anatomy (even some dentition features), or in a section/legend at the side, perhaps estimating how venomous or what type of venom it uses, if it is venomous. It may be that part of the taxonomic, 'Leptotyphlopidae' definition explains this and you just aren't bothering to repeat the definition. If your anatomy description is a repeat/part of this snakes definition, I would have thought it worth just mentioning that it is/is not venomous. If your anatomical observations are additional to being specifically family/species definition, then I'd have still thought it worth mentioning, especially for a wider audience (isn't this a key question people ask about a snake?). It may seem obvious to a specialist (especially when you mention that there are no teeth on the top jaw and I think all venomous snakes only have upper jaw fang or fangs). Any thoughts?
