Needed improvements

[edit]

The information here is good quality, but rather incomplete. The following information would take it out of stub-class, in my opinion:

  • Information on the other space groups (cubic, laminar, etc)
  • Diagrams of the various phases
  • Information about what parameters impact phases (eg detergent concentration, lipid length, etc)
  • Discussion of phase diagrams for well-studied systems

Hello, I have given a link to a figure from 'commons' in this write-up, at the base of the text. Kindly include this figure, as it exlains how to identify hexagonal-II (H), inverted speherical micelles (M) and bilayer lamellar (le) aqueous lipid polymorphism in a rare single (yet vividly-visulizable) electron micrograph.
