An attack or my mistake?

Someone erased the page and leaved a message: "busted". I take the page back from earlier versions. I don't know if I do bad or good, but the previous edition sounds me more like a bad joke.

Looking Foward

Good job guys fighting while I was gone! XD Well, now that S2 has ended we look forward to season 3. There are several questions to answer for the in between these two seasons.

1) When do we put season 3 fire on the episode list?
2) When do we put season 3 fire on the episode template?
3) And the most important. Pooldude (Tv.com editor) has said he will gradually release episode names between now and season 3. Those are going to be put on the list a lot. Do we:
a)Ignore it and wait until we get information from Tvguide.com or another reliable source.
b)Put them on the list with unconfirmed in parenthesis or something.
c)Put them up as real episodes.
We're going to have to do a lot of editing out if it is a. -Dylan0513 21:17, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I belive this is our awnser, please tell me if I'm wrong.
1) We put season three on the list when we have at least one Official Epidoe name from Nick.
2) We put it on the template at the same time.
3) I belive we should do choice 1, because of WP:8W. Unless he can link us to another source that we know is offical, it isn't verifiable even if he has been 100% accurate. Cnriaczoy42 21:26, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I agree on all of them. But we usually only have a week of reverting when pooldude puts up early info. This time we'll have 6 months until when s3 airs in May. -Dylan0513 21:28, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I just thought, don't put up the table until an episode has aired, that is why we have the upcoming episodes.
The sourcing guidelines are still in effect. That it's more difficult doesn't mean we can ignore them. We can't use those sources without independent verification. Also, yeah, when we do start putting up S3 episodes, they should just go in the coming section until they air, although we should probly say the premire's discription that its the new season.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 03:57, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

When is the season 3 going to be aired

Pictures

The following pictures need changed to something a bit more meaningful to the episode so that I can put a proper usage rational:

  • The Northern Air Temple -- Maybe have a picture of it, of the gliders, or anything than just a blown up Aang head
  • The Library -- What, we can't get a picture of the library in question?
  • Pilot -- Preferably something that can show the animation difference.

Possible changes:

  • The Waterbending Master -- Doesn't really show much
  • Appa's Lost Days -- There are better things we could show. I'd nominate the image of Appa dressed up.

Remember, all pictures should be able to be distinguished at 100px and should reflect something important from the show that is best seen visually. I'm sure someone will have this done by midday for me tomorrow, so I'm going to go rest up for my actual life (which I don't think exists anymore). H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 07:02, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I changed all except Pilot and The Waterbending Master. Cnriaczoy42 13:46, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I don't know about the others, but I changed the Appa's Lost Days back. I shows Appas meeting the Guru and is important for future episodes. Maybe a different one, but the circus one isn't significant enough. -Dylan0513 21:49, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I also changet the Avatar Returns piccture and THe blue Spirit because they were too close up. I hope no one has any major protests over that. Cnriaczoy42 00:05, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Delete TV Specials?

I really don't think we should have 2 TV specials just there. I think we either delete them or add the others. They aren't very important and seem to just take up space. -Dylan0513 23:47, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Like wich ones, the fury of Aang, and SOTFN? or every time two episodes were aired like the season finales. Cnriaczoy42 00:12, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Dylan makes a good point. One of them is basically just a commercial and one is a commentary that's on the DVD (I think). They really aren't episodes and have no meaning to the canon of the show. I'd say it's up to the FL voters really. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 01:11, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Actually, it was aired once so people who hadn't seen the seires would know enough to understand the last three episode of season 1. I'll delete those no because they are not important. Cnriaczoy42 01:21, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

CONGRAGULATIONS!!!

Thank you all who helped fix this article after I nomminated it. Even though we had differant views, I'm glad we could reach an aggreement for the betterment of the list. Cnriaczoy42 21:37, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, woot! And the list is number 47 in the December most viewed pages so far!!! I still have some problems with the spoilers, but I like how we're limiting them. -Dylan0513 21:38, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
And we get a little star on the top of the article. Hopefully Avatar: The Last Airbender will get one too. Cnriaczoy42 21:42, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, it looks awesome, XD. And yeah, hopefully Avatar: The Last Airbender will have one soon. And be featured on the main page, XD. -Dylan0513 21:44, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
FL don't get front page previews do they? H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 00:29, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Na, they only do that for FA's. If the main article gets featured submitting it for Today's Featured Article will be the first thing I do, though. I've already read up on it. ;).--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 04:33, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Good. We've got more than 50 other Avatar pages. LET'S MAKE THEM ALL FA! w00t! H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 05:02, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Lol, I'm not sure if that'll happen. But some could be close already. -Dylan0513 12:03, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
How about you wait until Season 3 starts to make it on the front page? Cnriaczoy42 18:16, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

DVD and iTunes releases

Why do you think that the DVD and iTunes releases of Avatar: The Last Airbender should be on this page? Shouldn't it be on Avatar: The Last Airbender media information? I'm not sure why you did it but please leave a reason. Thanks. Zany zacky (talkcontribs)

I believed that they belonged here because they concerned the episodes. If someone was looking at this page, that would also want to know when they where realeased and about the DVDS. Besides, I believe that the media information page should not exsist as all the informatoin can be moved to other articles. Cnriaczoy42 21:32, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
What's done is done, but I really thought we were better off having this stuff on the media info page. That article was made, unless I'm mistaken, because its contents were on other pages and cluttered them too much.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 22:26, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Why do you think that Book 2 Earth Volume 1 will contain the episode Avatar Day? Usaly the volume for Book 1 only had 4 episodes on it. So why do you think that Book 2 Earth Volume 1 should contain 5 episodes? Please leave a reason. Thanks. Zany zacky (talkcontribs)

Top Importance?

I'm gonna kind express some doubt regarding Placebo's adding the "top priority" tag. This page is fine (why do you think it was so easy to get it approced as a featured list?), the real top priority is the other one that's been tagged- the main page, which people keep demanding to be improved for it to be an FA. Y BCZ 02:49, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

I said top because it is frequently visited. Like the earlier edit today, it needs to be watched to prevent stuff like that from being here. (In case no one got the memo, I am cnriaczoy42, i got my name changed) The Placebo Effect 02:59, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
This is definitely top priority. I think the main page ans this are the 2 most important articles. -Dylan0513 03:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

New Format

I suggest putting the box art next to the names of the episodes in the main list as well as using the List of Anime Episodes TV template. It was done well in the List of Fullmetal Alchemist episodes article, which also received featured list status. It looks a lot cleaner and more organised, besides, the screenshots don't add any additional information anyway. If everyone used the same template for the same task it would go far in helping to standardise Wikipedia articles, especially within WikiProjects. 74.119.204.229 04:47, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

I actually think the opposite, that the individual screenshots add more appeal, and that the box art shots, while not bad, are less interesting than having a picture for the episode. I'd rather keep things as they are. FrozenPurpleCube 05:52, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
For once the Manticore and I agree on something. The images are fine the way they are- they feature a highlight of their associated episodes, and they look pretty good. I don't really see why it should be changed. Besides, just because some other Featured Lists do it a certain way, doesn't mean this one has to. Y BCZ 07:15, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
You shouldn't be surprised at that, people often have more in common than they don't, and it's not like our interests have significantly intersected very often. Anyway, I hope you do think about my words elsewhere, they may save you trouble in the future. FrozenPurpleCube 14:57, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Oh, this should get interesting. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 07:13, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
I think the current design is good... It looks fine -- --Diego · (talk· =P) · (cont · =P) 03:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

I, too, believe that we should leave the episode list as is.Uioh 22:29, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Unaired Pilot

Why is it on? It can be moved. You just made a summary of the entire thing up to a certain point. I would move it to 1.1. You know? 4myself4 (Come see my guestbook) 02:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

The unaired pilot is completely separate from The Boy in the Iceberg. It wasn't shown and is on the Complete book 1 Collection DVD. The summary is pretty vague, but he pilot itself doesn't have much plot. -Dylan0513 03:20, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Itunes

I don't know how to use sandbox and then link to it without it being deleted, but I have an idea for a new format for the itunes and DVD releases...Zach111493 18:20, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I like the idea of dividing it by season. It makes it seem less cramped. Let's here other opinions first though before doing anything. -Dylan0513 22:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I also think that it should be split by season, ask one of the admin.s. -dungbomb 18:05, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
WP:BOLD. We don't need admin aproval to make changes like this to an article. Admins are for tasks you wouldn't trust a new user with. The Placebo Effect 02:41, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

iTunes and DVD releases

All episodes are also available through the iTunes music store, with new ones usually released one day after they premiere on Nickelodeon. Currently, iTunes sells each episode for $1.99 and an entire season or "book" for $29.99. It currently has The Serpent's Pass and The Drill combined into The Secret of the Fire Nation. The episodes The Guru and The Crossroads of Destiny are also combined. The price of the combined episodes is $3.99

Yeah...far as I can tell, that's basically fan fiction.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 20:55, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm... Good titles; good imagination, too. Everything was allright until the part when Iroh is dead. It's OBVIOUSLY fan fiction. I'll write my own episodes too... --Diego · (talk· =P) · (cont · =P) 21:48, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
The first time it was posted in the article, it said in the opening paragraph that the last two episodes were the season finale. I guess they didn't pay attention to their own work The Placebo Effect 21:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Lol. Fanfiction mistakes are hilarious. FF can be amazing too, it just doesn't belong at Wikipedia. -Dylan0513
Well... I just looked at it and decided to make my own episode list. I am going to scan it in to my computer and upload it to wikipedia for people to look at if they want. If anyone has the time, can you also make one so I can show them all to my brother because he likes when I show him all these made up season threes. Zach111493 02:20, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Not to discourage you, but wikipedia isn't really a place for fan fiction. Frankly, I don't know why this is still here. This would definitely be a good thing thing for avatar forums though. -Dylan0513 03:12, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Aw well i didn't think so. Zach111493 03:33, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Don't think so what? H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 06:49, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

I did not think that I would be able to upload the episode list I just mentioned on to here.Zach111493 20:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC) Regardless of what I just said, who would create an episode list?Zach111493 21:25, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

We aren't going to make an episode list for fake episodes... I'm really confused here. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 22:00, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
you do realize that there already are a few episodes named for season 3, and iroh shouldnt die. You may have put iroh's death there because you figured that the guy who played him died. Mako did not play iroh in the season finale you know, it was an unamed replacement actor so of course he is going to be in season 3. And like what the pablo and dillan guy said, this probably isnt the best place for fan fiction. User:AvatarDude360
Correction-Mako DID voice Iroh in the season finale. The only times he didn't voice Iroh were a few minutes in The Tales of Ba Sing Se and near the beginning of The Earth King. Mako had finished recording for the second season before his death, and it's unknown why they had his replacement actor voice those two scenes. But yes, Iroh will be alive as the creators announced at PMX that a replacement voice actor had been chosen. Anyways, this topic of discussion should be dead anyways...Y BCZ 01:55, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

3.4

I found out the name for 3.4. Should we get ready for that? What should we do? 4myself4 (Come see my guestbook) 19:46, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

That site dosn't qualify as a relible source in this matter. Sorry if this sounds abrupt, but that's an issue that's been dealt with many times already.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 19:58, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
