Merging character pages[edit]

Resolved

– Per consensus, all character articles were merged to the list, with the final merges completed January 30, 2009

Someone with experience with merging pages should begin merging and redirecting most of the D.N.Angel character pages to this page. Many of those pages have issues with listing every single event the character participated in the anime series and with the manga finally off from hiatus, listing every single chapter by chapter event.

Supporting characters like Emiko and Mio Hio should definitely be merged into this page while major characters like Daisuke and Dark may be able to have their own page, if they are rewritten. 142.58.132.26 (talk) 00:09, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In general, I agree. I've fixed your merge suggestion tags, though, to use a single tag for a cleaner page. Few of the characters, if any, from this series have the necessary notability for separate articles. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:20, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, since merging isn't allowed until discussions have concluded, I have to agree that pretty much all the character pages (including the ones that aren't tagged yet, like Riku Harada and Satoshi Hiwatari) should be merged into the compilation page. Most of the information could probably be reduced to a paragraph or two at most for most of these pages, so they don't really have enough notability on their own. The merging is being completed, as is shown in its edit history. The merging is being done slowly so sources can also be added and rewriting done, as necessary, of the incoming an existing material.
