Bandwidth size
[edit]Hello there! I would like to now if this table uses the amount available or amount operational in regards to frequency bandwidth? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cristian Spitz (talk • contribs) 13:26, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Referenced operational bandwidth. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 16:56, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
Inconsistency: Russia in Asia region, while Denmark is in Europe?
[edit]There's an inconsistency in placing Russia into Asia region, while leaving Denmark in Europe. The edit comment from 31 Jan 2022 says that it's because "Russia is geographically mainly situated in Asia", but most of Denmark's territory is in North America, not Europe as well. So either both of them should be in Europe (by majority of population living in Europe), or both Denmark and Russia should be kept outside of Europe in their respective continents. Purpose of this page; Outdated information
[edit]With edits being reverted because the sources aren't "good enough", I'm failing to see the point of this page. It is a matter of fact that Three Ireland have ditched the remaining 5 MHz of 3G on 2100 MHz in February 2023 for 4G (EARFCN 100), and more recently, 5G in some areas (ARFCN 423130), while 2600 MHz 4G was also launched earlier this year as 20 MHz (2850) and 15 MHz (3025). Opening Network Signal Guru or Field Test on your phone and seeing the frequencies in use the best source you can get. If someone documenting that is not good enough I don't know what is.
I would love to hear your problems with this video[1] by Peter Clarke, whose entire channel is dedicated to reporting on the mobile telecom infrastructure. Plus, he was also cited by Luke Kehoe,[2] who you gave your stamp of approval to back in 2021.
While I understand being apprehensive about using a forum as a source, confusedbird is one of the websites with the most documented information on Irish mobile networks. Even if you don't want it cited on Wikipedia, the contents of the site remain true. No need to revert the whole edit.
