Some models are missing

[edit]

There are some models in the list that are missing. Eg. Sony X81K[1]. Could someone please add them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Internetyev (talkcontribs) 18:19, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

One more note - the X90S and X94S models, available in 50" and 55" are missing from the list. These are S-series which Sony has released in 2022 for European countries (see Spain[2] and Italy[3] as examples). I am considering either adding an extra table for S series in 2022 section or adding a separate section on regional models, if there are no objections. This is important to have clarity even for regional models that Sony launches, because without it, the list is not complete. --Internetyev (talk) 22:04, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganising this article

[edit]

I have started reorganising this article on my sandbox: User:Lommes/Sandbox. Others are more than welcome to join in. Cheers! --Lommes (talk) 20:07, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am still not fully done, but i think i have now listed most (>95% ?) of the Bravia models. The tables obviously need more data to fill in, as well as references to each individual model. However, this is something one can do slowly over time. The general table is likely good for now. --Lommes (talk) 15:42, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the rewrite, I much prefer it over the previous version. I have one question: what does the backlight technology "LED-LD" stand for? Is it Local Dimming? If yes, why is it not named as "LED-FALD"? Does this refer to Edge-Lit Local Dimming? If yes, I'd prefer to have a more specific name and a wiki link to make it more clear. @Punkt64: the problem is that i don't have that information. some sources i got the models from said "LED local dimming", and some said "Full Array Local Dimming", yet others said "Edge-lit". I think even the Sony Website isn't super-consistent in this regard. So the answer, unfortunately, is that i don't know. I'd also prefer to make it more clear, but i don't know how, as i don't have the necessary info. Sorry. --Lommes (talk) 11:51, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
