Opening Theme Song

Each season had a unique opening sequence with a different setting and musical styling of the theme song. It would be nice if these were mentioned under each respective season header.--StAkAr Karnak 00:51, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

• Each season does have a different theme song and, I believe, if you go to the [1] website, you can download each one. One note, though, there are a couple of discrepencies from the original and the syndication ones. One of them is that in Season 7, the one they used was only aired 4 times and only in certain cities during original run, supposedly, and due to some copyright issues, they re-verted back to season 6 - see the beginning of Episode 7 in the list here. So Season 6 & 7 ended up being the same, supposedly, in syndication but one of them is slightly different. At the end of the opening, I think 7, Cosby says something about 'That's the best elevator music I ever heard' but this doesn't appear in Season 6... however, the website uses the same one for both 6 & 7. Gram Tee's Song

The Lyrics were: Skip, Skip to the barber shop, I left my blanket(or toy)at the barber shop and three pieces of candy, one for you and one for me, and one for sister Sally.(edited:03:44pm; 17 February 2013)(CLF) Does anyone rembmer the lyrics to Gram Tee's song she sang with Olivia? Animated?

Why is this page in Category:Lists of animated television series episodes? Were any episodes animated, or is this a mis-categorisation? leevclarke (talk) 22:50, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Notes/trivia

Sixty-six (more than 25%) of episode synopses in this article have a "Notes" section that contains information varying from actors appearing for the first time/being absent to episode rankings in TV Guide.

Is the intricate detail for all of these notes necessary? According to MOS:TV, "a brief summary of the plot (100–200 words; upwards of 350 words for complex storylines) is applicable, along with a list of the writers, directors, airdates, episode title and episode number. This plot summary should generally be brief but complete, including spoilers."

Similar episode listings do not include this type of detail. Also, Template:Episode list does not include a specific field reference for including "notes". AldezD (talk) 18:39, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Necessary? No. Against the rules/policy? Not really. I know of several other episode lists which contain "Note"s. I, personally, would not have a problem with removing mentions of absents. --Musdan77 (talk) 19:42, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

First appearance/last appearance should be moved to being mentioned in List of The Cosby Show characters, and all of the "Absent:" should be removed. Trivial plot elements such as "This is the only episode where Clair Huxtable is seen in a courtroom.", "Also, the first episode in which Clair is shown to be fluent in Spanish." Also, the guest star listings are inconsistently formatted, with some as "Note: Guest appearance by ..." and others as "Guest appearances: ..." without "Note" in front of it. Also, "X appeared on A Different World later that evening" is not appropriate for an episode listing when the plot does not carry over into the second show. AldezD (talk) 12:20, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

Syndication

About the episodes only aired in syndication... which ones are they? I make reference to this on the main page as well as it mentions there that only 197 episodes aired on original run and 201 in syndication?
