Talk:List of assets owned by Vivendi

I've removed the list of games published by Vivendi through its subsidiaries since the information isn't really relevant in this article. If we would choose to keep the list of games, we would be forced to include lists of albums, movies, and tv-shows, in the name of consistency. But this article isn't a list of products, but a list of assets as in subsidiaries. NisseSthlm 15:05, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification[edit]

On the text "20% of NBC Universal which includes:," does this mean that Vivendi has holdings on 20% of Universal Studios -in the form of- full holdings of the list below, or that it has 20% holdings on NBC Universal, and therefore 20% of each of the listed? It's kind of vague.

Made Complete Overhaul[edit]

Much of the information on this article was wrong. I overhauled the TV & Film section (a.k.a CANAL) using information from both the respective Vivendi and CanalGroup websites.

I removed the telecommunications part of the article since the two remaining assets had be sold off earlier in 2015. The article was also missing a section for "Vivendi Village" that I also added.

If someone knows enough about Vivendi's previous operations in Europe through their Canal+ brand then please add. I am sure they have/had namesake brands in: Scandinavia, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Weewaterasia (talk) 23:28, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
