Parodies

While some Fanboy and Chum Chum characters are fairly obviously based on specific people or characters, (Michael Johnson and Janitor Poopatine for example,) I propose that users avoid a lot of unsupported speculation. For example, some users have added that Kyle is a hodge-podge of several different characters from Harry Potter, including Hermione because she has buck-teeth and braces. It gets a little silly when we get that deep into the speculation. Like, Mufflin isn't a parody of Moe Howard and SpongeBob just because he has a weird haircut and wears a white shirt. Removed some random data submitted by 67.197.208.67. On the subject of "Cupzilla", user submitted, "It also appears in berry sick and The incredible shrinking Fanboy". Typographical errors ignored, Cupzilla may not be so significant as to warrant a unique mention on the Characters page for each of its appearances. I could be wrong about this, though. Removed some random data submitted by 67.197.208.67. On the subject of "Fankylechum", user submitted, "fanboy gave him a wet willy in fan-bidextrous". Again, typos. But beyond that, I don't know that every interaction with Fankylechum need be cataloged on the Characters page. Fanboy may someday crack a joke on Fankylechum, or douse him in phlegm, or ask him a question, or call him on the phone, or whatever. None of these interactions are so noteworthy as to warrant individual mention. On the other hand, if Fankylechum turns into a recurring whipping boy for Fanboy and Chum Chum (not likely) that might warrant mention. Again, I might be wrong, but I welcome a friendly discussion. - I did not make those edits; that was the work of 67.197.208.67. I've only edited the Main Characters section. I do wonder, though, if some of the other characters are worth mentioning in the article, such as the Oz Clone and the monster under the bed.   - I totally apologize! Your IP submitted some really significant grammatical contributions on July 12th 2010! I misquoted your IP and misrepresented you. I've updated my first post to read 67.197.208.67 instead of 75.1.69.18. As for your other notes, my gut tells me to wait a little bit to see how the second season fares. It's conceivable that the monster under the bed might get a personality or a name or something. On the other hand, one could always delete the submission(s) and then add it(them) back when it gets fleshed out. Then again, maybe more data is better? Again, sorry about misquoting your IP. Ages

I've seen 3 or 4 people battle over Kyle's age being 11 or 12, and I've seen several edit volleys over a few other character ages. If you can substantiate your submission with a verifiable source that'd be awesome! Other Characters

re: my changes made on Aug 10 2010: Within the Other Characters section, I've attempted to reorganize the listing of secondary characters in a rough, but not entirely arbitrary, order of importance. I've (once again) moved Yo from Main Characters into Other Characters, because while she has featured in two S1 eps, so has Thorvald, but he doesn't exactly belong in the Main Characters section. As the second season develops, the important characters will likely become more obvious. Hints dropped at 2010 Comic-Con suggest that Dollar-nator, for example, could be featured prominently in S2, as might Man-Arctica, Agent Johnson, Oz's Mom, and even Fankylechum.
