Radical image removal[edit]

Way too many images before. This was madness. The page was almost only blankspace and thumbnails. What is an Indianapolis airport map doing on a page like this? Reduced to one, at most two skyline pics per city. --Dschwen 14:13, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What?[edit]

There are barely any cities here. I didn't do any real research but I know there are more cities that have 100,000 people or more. I didn't see Portland, Oregon in there. I know there is more than listed.

Er, yes, I've noticed that too... maybe they mean 1,000,000+? The Runescape Junkie 23:39, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Boston, Massachusetts, with around 600,000 inside the city limits and 4 million (depending on where you draw the lines) in the metro area, is missing. There should 50 cities or more with more than 100,000 people. Marco polo 19:57, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Massive Change[edit]

I fixed it so all cities with over 100,000 are there. Yay! :) 11kowrom 14:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good job! I already gave up on this list and now I suddenly found it a usable state. --Dschwen(A) 21:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Umm, the list is supposedly from 2005 but there are updates as of 2008 to it. It either needs a current source or needs to remain static. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 00:22, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since both articles have the same population theshold of 100,000 plus, it's recommended that this article to merged with List of United States cities by population, the article with more deatiled information about each large city. --Moreau36 (talk) 23:00, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. This article does not need to exist separately. The main difference is that the cities here are grouped by state. However, since the table in the other article can be sorted by state, the same information as this article can be readily obtained from the other one. This article should simply redirect to the other one. --Polaron | Talk 19:09, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. List of United States cities by population is much better-looking and (as Polaron notes) the information is just as accessible. The data on these population pages is very susceptible to vandalism and it would be helpful not to have duplicated information to patrol. --Uncia (talk) 22:29, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have redirected this article since I don't think there is any logical reason for a separate article. --Polaron | Talk 23:25, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
