Hendrikus Colijn's education[edit]

Colijn was educated in Kampen, but Koninklijke Militaire Academie refers to the one in Breda. Does anyone know whether the institution in Kampen belonged to the same organisation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leontrooper (talkcontribs) 10:59, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

For what it is worth, three years after the question was posed, here my two cents: The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army had a school in Kampen. Mr Colijn followed the so-called Hoofdcursus there, see https://www.canonvannederland.nl/nl/overijssel/salland/kampen/instructiebataljon. This educational facility was created by the Ministry of War and the Ministry of the Colonies. The Hoofdcursus and the KMA were thus separate military academies.
