Does anyone have a preference as to whether this article merges into Load profile or vice versa? Jim.henderson (talk) 13:03, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support: with preference to merge this article into Load profile.

Motivations:

Both terms look indeed related. In one place I saw the clear definition that both are the same, and several articles mix the terms. But reading a lot more articles, I get more and more the impression that load curve is the detailed measurement of load, while load profile is the aggregation of several load curves in a certain category. So we get the domestic load profile, commercial load profile, industrial load profile, etc
Load profile is giving much more hits in google over load curve (4M versus 220k).
