Hill, Lola T371 1975

[edit]

It would appear that Graham Hill did not drive the Lola T371 in 1975. He drove the T370 in the Argentine GP, Motor Sport magazine archive here and also in Brazil, ditto here and DNQ'd at South Africa, here and also at Monaco (not in the artice) here where he failed to quali both the T370 and GH1. It would seem therefore that the only outing for the 371 was South Africa 1975 for Stommelen. All these 'results' are confirmed by; Small, Steve (1994). The Guinness Complete Grand Prix Who’s Who. Guinness. pp. 188 & 362. ISBN 0851127029..

Is it worth keeping the 371 article for just one race or could it be merged with the 370? I suppose it wouldn't be the only one race, car article...though I can't think of one at the moment (Brabham fan car maybe). Eagleash (talk) 13:39, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page merge

[edit]

As a result of the above section, there followed rather lengthy research and discussion here and here, the upshot of which was that the Lola T371 and Hill GH1 were the same car re-named after the designer left Lola to work full-time for Hill. A 'concensus' was therefore reached that the 2 pages should be merged. Eagleash (talk) 08:55, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
